Baking With My Dad

Today I had fun at home while in self isalation.My dad had an idea of baking a chocolate cake with blue icing. First I had to find the ingredients and the recipes. Then my dad went out to go and buy the things we needed.Then we got started on the batter. Once while i was baking with my unity she said put the dry ingredients then the wet ingredients..We made the batter than we put it in the oven for about 45 minutes. By that time is was done.While it cooled down we made the icing. I made the icing by myself.Then we added the icing and the sprinkles. This is the end product of our home made chocolate cake.This was a really fun activity for me and my dad.

Family time

Since we are still in the covid 19 lockdown, we can still do fun with our family.When we are bored my sisters help my dad bake food for a treat. So tomorrow we are maybe be picking these food items:We like to bake because we have a chance of spending more time with others in your household that on social media and watching movies.

Auckland War Museum

For this task Liletina and I completed this task together.The first part was to create a animation or a picture about what the soldiers had to look at everyday on the trench. The next task I we did was weapons.We had to pick a type of gun that the soldiers used in the war. The last task was to find what type of food that the ANZAC people had to eat. Did you know that they had to drink water from a muddy puddle.

Motat

For this task Suila, liletina  I worked collaboratively and talked about MOTAT. MOTAT stands for Museum of Transport and Technology. We had learnt facts that you can see in this slide. You can go on this slide to learn about The founder of MOTAT and facts about MOTAT.

Whoa ! Studio

This task Suila,liletina and I worked collaboratively for this task. We learned about Whoa! Studios. Whoa Studios is a Amusement park created by Toshiko Horiuchi Macadam. She is a Japan textiles artist. She has created one attraction in this park. YOu can go on this slide to learn more about Whoa Studios and Toshiko Horiuchi Macadam.

Milford Sound

L.I to take a virtual tour of Aotearoa. 

When we are doing home learning we continue to learn about New Zealand at the same time. We have a blogging challenge that helps us learn more while we are at home. This blogging challenge we completed was the milford sound. I collaborated with suila and liletina. We had to say why we would like to go on a tours and a cruise.Then we also had to create a cruise of our own.

Mount Ruapehu

For this task I and Liletina  did Mount Ruapehu. The task I found the hardest was making an animation about the battles of the Mountains. I learned from this task was the lowest temperature of Mount    Ruapehu.   I have learned new facts and information about Mount Ruapehu.

Te Puia

For this home learning time I decided to join with liletina to complete this task. Their were three parts to this activity.The first task was called Time travel. I pick three transportations and showed how long it would take for them to get from panmure to Te puia.The next task was to create a brochure about Te Puia. Fact, did you know that Te puia means gushing waters and steaming vents.The last task was to create a poster making people wanting to go to Te puia.

Tane Mahuta

For this home learning Liletina and I completed another task. Their were three parts to the whole activity.The first part was to use your smart searching skills to find out how long the tallest tree is. After that then you had to make a screen casetify about your strategy. We drew our own trees.   The next was about the history E made a poster about it and added a link to our poster.The last task we did was about tane Mahuta the longest tree in the world and we added facts about it.
