Hobbiton Movie Set

For this home learning task, Liletina and I worked collaboratively to get this presentation done.Their were three parts to the whole presentation. The first part or (activity 1 ) was to create your menu for the hobbiton movies set. You also had to add what was their and how much it would cost. The next part of the task was to make a brochure of hobbiton. We added the cost and price the location and facts .We used an image and had to attribute them.The last part was to make a biography about Sir Peter Jackson. He made 24 books and one movie.

Splash Planet

For this home learning task I worked alone for this. The first part was to find a activity and why you would recommend the activity that you chose. The last task was to create or draw a slide with a pool. I chose to draw it because it looked easier and I know how to draw things like animation eyes and random stuff.

Velocity Valley

For this home learning task we did the velocity valley set of task. The first part was how much it would cost four the two rider and the four rider.We also had to write a maths question about how much it would cost for our whole family to go.The next part of the task was to chose what ride you want to go on.The last part was divided in into two parts. The first part was to make a infographics about the rides. The last part describe a ride.

Waitomo Caves

The home learning that we were given was completed by liletina and I. Together we worked collaboratively to complete this task. The first piece of the task was to make a brochure about the glow worms. We also added  images to make it look nice.The next piece of the task was to make a venn diagram about glow worms and Luray Caverns. We had to write things about both if them and then find out what is the sam about both sides. The last piece was To make a infographic about glow worms. Any picture we use must need to be attributed. We used facts for the last piece.

Snow Planet

For this home learning task, Liletina and I had a set of task to complete while we were at home. The first part of the three task was how much it would cost for people to go to snow planet. We were given a link to information that gave us the answer. We also had to write the cost of how much it would cost to go for a full day.The next part was about what type of clothing you should where for this trip. We had to write what type of clothes when going to snow planet because it is cold. Part of the second task was to defined Hypothermia,it mean wear clothes take do make you lose heat from your body.The last part was Equipment. Meaning we had to find a type of equipment used very commonly on snow and create a DLO.

Current Events 2

For the home learning task I created a number two for the current events from kiwi kids news. I have found two articles that hooked my attentions. The first article i read about was about when russia had a earthquake coming to them on wednesday.The next article i read about was Venice Canals, they have seen dolphins and swans. They were both good at hooking my attention and think that it hooked other people attentions and got people to stop and think " Do I really want to read this " then people go and read it anyway.

Current Events

For this home learning task i picked one article from kiwi kids new. The article is about how new zealand bound kiwi fruits to japan and kobe. They have started this year 2020. I have learnt about a lot new things.I have never knew that they bound fruits to japan.   

Vector Wero

This task that we got given was to complete three task.That first task that we were given was to use our smart searching skills to find and write the safety rules when entering vector wero.The next task that we had to complete was to find the cost or how much the ticket cost. We also had to write a maths question using the knowledge that we found to create a maths question and the solve it.The last task was to also use our smart searching skills to find out how lisa carrington is and what she does.

Taitua Arboretum

For the home learning task me and my buddy liletina completed a task that we had to finished. The first task that we had to complete was to find facts about taitua arboretum and add images.The next task we did was the time travel. We had to pick two transportation and find how long it would take to get their in or on it from panmure to arboretum.We picked a car and a bike. The bike took 7 hours and 36 minutes and the car took 1 hour and 24 minutes.The last task was to predict what type of trees you will see.

Auckland Zoo

For this home learning task Me and my buddy liletina made completed three that were given to us. The first task was to see how much an annual pass is. The next activity was to pick a animal at the zoo and write about it's diet habit and information about the creature.The last task we got given was to create a infographic about zookeepers.

Harbour Bridge

For the home learning tasks. Liletina and I worked collaboratively towards a set of task that were given to us. We first had to find facts about the auckland harbour bridge and put images with it.The next task was how much it would cost and facts about the auckland harbour bridge. the last task we had to complete was to create a venn diagram about the auckland harbour bridge and the sydney harbour bridge.

Auckland Musuem

For the home learning tasks. We were given a task to create a google presentation about the auckland Museum. The first task was to find facts about the life of a Soldier and also we had to talk about a life as a soldier. The next task was to create a video about a parade that happens every once a year.We had to talk about what happened and why it happens.The last task was to make five exhibits of our own. We chose Looking for land, Maoris,Butterflies,Hunting, and crafts or art.I completed this task with liletina.

Sky Tower

For the home learning tasks.We got given a task about the sky tower. We wrote a list of 5 facts about the Sky Tower. For our second activity we created a new mascot for the Sky Tower and write information about our mascot.For our last activity we chose an activity we could do at the Sky Tower and wrote down why we chose it, what it is and how much it would cost to do that activity. I completed this task liletina.

Rainbow Ends

For the home learning tasks. We got given a task that was to locate rainbow ends.How much is cost and how much it would for your family to go to rainbows end.The next activity was what was the height restriction and why do you think they have one. The bonus activity was to write about a ride you recommend to a friend. Also you had to write a 25 words paragraph.

Leaf Art

For the home learning task we needed to be creative with time. So our teacher set up a task for us to complete. The task was create a picture of an animal with leaves. We could do any animal we wanted. We could be creative for this task. I did a butterfly.With only using three leaves.

Facts :

1. Butterflies taste things with their feet.
2.They drink from mud puddles
3.Their wings are transparent

Kawarau Bridge

This task we had to make a brochure about the Kawarau Bridge Bungy. We also had to use information about the weight and height restrictions. If we used images then we had to attribute the images. We also had to use information from the site that was provided for when doing the task.There were three task to complete for this whole task.

Slyline Luge

LS2 made activity for us do at home I started on the Skyline Luge there were three activity to need to do. Doing these activity was really fun to do. I used maths well doing to add how much will it cost for my family to go on rides. I learned a lot of new things. I worked with liletina for these task.

Kelly Tarltons / 2 / Home Learning

For the home learning task we made a poster about an animal that we chose from what we will see at kelly tarlton.For this task i worked with liletina. We had to put images on the poster and we had to attribute.
Meaning : To give credit to the owner or the creator of the image.

Name Exercise

For the home learning we did a name exercise. We were given a number of exercisers with letters. For example if you had the letter A the you will have to do 25 sit ups. We had to our name and then do the exercise. This was fun but also very challenging.I did :

CARE Awards : Respect / Collage

For this task we had to make a collage about what happens at our school.For this task my partner liletina and I created this collage for one of our respect task to get our respect badge. This task was fun while creating something for people to go and see.

CARE Awards : Respect / Brochure / Belonging to PBS

For this task my buddy (liletina ) and I made a brochure about the belonging to PBS ( Panmure Bridge School ) We added photos of us and what we do in the school. We also had to write what happened and what we do.

CARE Awards : Respect / Making Dinner For My Family

For this task i made dinner for my family. This is a task for my respect task so i can earn my respect badge. I made stir - fry with mixed veggies. I added sait,oil and soy sauce. I was happy to make dinner fro the family and I learnt from this was how to measure all the ingredients. 

C.A.R.E Awards : Respect / Respected Leaders

For this Care Award we need to write Information and Facts about Respected Leaders Evelyn Mase and Nelson Mandela I worked with afatia to get this task finished.We had to pick two respects leader and write information about their life and why they become a respected leader. We picked Nelson mandela and Evelyn Mase. Fact : Evelyn Mase was nelsons mandela first wife.

Kiwi Can Reflection / Role Module

LI: To understand what is a role module and why you need to be one.

This week for kiwi can we had a new theme. It was role module. Last weeks theme was leadership. First we did the energiser. For the energiser we had to be in pairs. We played hammer. Then we talked about what is a role module and who is your role module ? A role module is a person that takes control and inspires people to do things. Then we asked people who their role module is. Well my role model is my parent because the provide shelter food water and clean clothes for me and my sister.

For our activity we played picture it. how you play this game you have to be in a group of 6. Four groups of six is how we played it. Then our kiwi can leader gave us some shapes and objects to build. Plus we had to use every person in the group we couldn't leave people out. Then after the game we headed inside to play GKQ ( General Knowledge Questions )   we did girls vs boys and the girls won.

Tech / Coding

LI: To use coding games to help you get confident with coding.

For tech this week we were asked to play game, but not just any game we had to play games that had coding in it so you can boost up your confidence with coding and robots.Then we went outside to play a game. I learnt about how to code properly while play ign at the same time.

Maths / Kahoot

LI : To create a kahoot using rounding and compensating to check our answers

In maths Mrs anderson took the pentagon group to learn the method, rounding and compensating. First we talked then we were taught on how to use the method in subtraction. First we did addition then we did subtraction. After that we had to solve subtraction question using the same method. After that our task was to create a kahoot using the same method to work out the answer for each subtraction question.

Helping lily / C.A.R.E Awards

For this task we had to help someone with an extra skill. I helped lily. She just moved to our school. I helped her with coding for our robotics class. I showed her how to code and to make the mbot do what we coded the mbot to do.

C.A.R.E Awards / Video slide

Our task was to create a video showing positive attitude. We had to say what is positive attitude and why its good to use positive attitude. 

C.A.R.E Awards : Positive Attitude / Longest Place Name

LI: To practice saying the longest place name in the world.We also learnt about why and where places get their name. We learnt about the longest place name in New Zealand. We also had to record yourself  saying it. I learnt from this task is how to say the longest name in the word and where and why places get their name. 

Venn Digram

For this task we had to put people under explores, adventures or both.We also had to use our smart searching skill to find information about people we don't know.Explorer means someone who is sent to go somewhere and finds unknown land and an adventurer is a person who has a eager for adventure. 

Exploring Porovcation

LI: To consider both sides of a provocation.
This week we have been exploring both sides of a provocation.For writing we learnt about what is provocation. Provocation mean when you have a strong sentence that hooks people's attention. We also learnt about if NZ should become a cashless society. We were given a task. The task was to make a poster about should NZ become a cashless society. We learnt to new words. They are For and Against.

Places Named by early Explorers

This task we had to create a google map about why places were named. For example Cook Beach, was named after Captain cook. That was the first place Captain cook sailed to from new zealand.WE also had to make pin for abel tasman kupe and many more explores.

Thank You Mrs Anderson - CARE Awards - Respect

This Letter goes to Mrs Anderson. We have to write a letter to our teacher or a staff teacher. I decided to do my teacher because I have just known her in two weeks and a half. She is the best teacher in Panmure bridge school who has taught me lots.

PHN | Public Health Nursing | Positive Attitude

For this care award  we had to write about what Public Health Nurse helps with Panmure Bridge School . THis task we had to write information about public Health nursing. We had to write what they do and how they do it to make people feel better.

Morgan Stickey : Positive Attitude

For this care award we need to research about someone who had difficulties but still show positive attitude to others.WE chose Morgan Stickney because even thought she had faced many problems she always had a positive attitude.Morgan Stickney is a famous swimmer. She had lost both of her legs. but still does what she loves.

Care Awards: Out task was to create a video about why positive attitude it good. This video shows how our senior students show a positive attitude towards each other. Showing Positive Attitude is good because you show people how to do what good for them and others.
