Hauora Circle Map

LI: To write what I knew before we explored Hauora and after we explored Hauora.

For this task we were asked to write what we knew about Hauora before we deeply explored hauora with different activities. This was one of those activities. Before we explored hauora into different sections we had to write was we knew about hauora. I only knew Hauora is the maori belief for health and is very unique to New Zealand. Now after I learnt about it I wrote Hauora is the maori belief for health. There are four walls to hauora. Taha Tinana, Taha Wairua, Taha Whanau, and Taha Hinengaro.

  1. Hi Afatia,
I really enjoyed reading your blurb about the four walls of Hauora. Nice job finding out more about Hauora and how its a Maori believe. When you first approached Hauora what did you think it was? Maybe for a little bit of feedback for the next time try adding a bit more information.

    Good Job!

  2. Maingalaba Afatia,

Great job on completing your task, and I enjoyed reading your post. I liked how you explained the backstory of the purpose of this DLO and post. Its really cool to see you go from knowing not too much about Hauora, too being pretty knowledgeable in that area. Next time, I think in your DLO you maybe should've been a bit more descriptive about after what you learnt about Hauora.

What was the most interesting thing you've learnt about Hauora?

Great Job and keep up the work Afatia!

    1. Maingalaba to you too chris,

The most interesting thing I learn was about when all four walls are standing you are healthy and more but when one wall falls down the other walls become unstable and they fall down as well.

  3. Hey Afatia

Its is really great that you have blogged your work and made a really interesting blurb that shows what you did. It is really awesome to see you only learnt a bit before and now you know a lot about Hauora. Next time you do a blog post try and write a bit more in your blog post so we know what you learned and what you found really interesting about your DLO.

What is the most interesting fact you really liked about Hauora?

    Great Job Afatia!
