Body Parts - Te reo challenges

 

This weeks Te Reo challenge was to name all the body parts in maori. First we started by using  animating sites like Powtoon and Pixton to start with the work. We chose an avatar so it would be easy to explain the topic. The animation covers body parts like mouth, legs, feet, eyes, teeth, elbow. nose, fingers, toes, hair, head, ears, shoulders, knee and hands.I have the link under this showing my work.

Writing :Why is it important to use our PBS CARE values?

 LI: To write an explanation using .T.E.E.L. paragraphs

This week we have been revising explanation writing. Next week is our assessment week so we did this collaborative challenge to remind ourselves what is needed when we write explanations.We were practising on how to be writing a explanation for our test. We used the acronym T.E.E.L to help us understand the structure of writing a paragraph.We were asked to make this a collaboration piece of work. We also tried

to use transitional vocab to make our writing more understanding.We made a recording of the explanations.I found out that having the acronym T.E.E.L really help us make our piece of writing more better.
