Writing-Gold Ranger

LI: This week for writing we had to pick our names for our writing groups. Our theme was Power Ranger  because the had the most votes. Then We had to pick our ranger for our group.  We had to answer questions to pick our ranger. We picked gold ranger because we  were the first one to get the answer right.After all the groups picked there ranger you have to make a poster about the ranger your group is doing.

Maths- How to tell the time.

LI: Make a poster about how to tell the time and  to tell the time on an analogue clock.

For maths we had to make a poster about how to tell the time. The times on the clock that I chose was 3:03 and 8:30. Link to the clock site to get the photo.

Music

This week was another week of music. We had to sit on the floor for instructions. The first instructions was people how haven't had a turn on  key borders get turn with headphones on and they can play anything because we can't  hear them. Next instructions was the people in the front got to play a ukulele But we that the learn first. First we had to start on holding the ukulele them we got how to play the ukulele. People how  was confidence  to play the uklele out side. The other people had to learn more about how to play a uklele. 

Kiwi Can

This week there was another session for kiwi can. We learnt about positive communication and positive Relationship. The first thing we did was we played a game. Then another game. We were learning about praise.  We developed a group then shared understanding about praise.While we play the game we showed praise.Praise means to do happy thing for people and share what they have done right to other people.

Cyber-smart/C.A.R.E Awards

Care awards in LS1 are given to students that are showing the Care Values of Panmure bridge School. Care stands for Confidence, Attitude, Respect, Excellence and Innovation. Confidence means/definition participating in things like work, Attitude means a settled way of thinking or feeling about something, Respect means Treating places and things as important, and Excellence and Innovation means the quality of being outstanding and having a good process. The care awards were invented by the treaty of waitangi because the three Ps. The three Ps stands for partnership, Protection, and participating.


L.I to write a succinct blurb for a blog post.
Writing a blurb is very important for the people who is reading your blog post. In your blurb you need what you  learnt how you learnt it and what did you need to learnt it. Our class have been learning how to write a very good blurb for your blog.

Infograhics-Reading

LI: To make a infographic about

This week in reading we had to make a Infographic about reading. A infographic is a chart with minimal text and images that link with the text. We first had to get into groups from people that are in different reading groups. Mr Ogilvie had written down how and what we need to make a infograhic.

Interschool Softball

LI:
Yesterday A group of people from our school were in the interschool softball. In the morning we all went to class and did the roll then we had to walk to the field and practice. The first game was between PBS and Pt ES.

We did rock paper scissors to see who win to chosen if they want to bat or field. They won and they chose to bat and that means we have to field. We play Point england school year 5. One the first person that batted hit the ball far away that is why the got a home run. A home run is when you touch all the bases and run back to the home base.They won by 3 points.

 The next school we played was Panama road school. We did rock paper scissors and they won and they had chosen batting like the other school. Two people from the other school batted so far that they both made a home run but we still won.
