LI: to solve a equation about cactus.
Today for this weeks activity we had to solve an equation about cactus.
This is the problem we had to work out.Let’s imagine that you are given a cactus for your birthday. To keep it alive, you must give it 3 ml of water every day.

LI: To Write about your hometown

For this week i am doing  the summer learn journey and the next activity was that we were writing about your hometown. It is good to in Auckland that i can call home with my family.  

Summer Learning Journey/In the Beginning

This week we were doing the summer learning Journey and we had to do all the actives over the holidays. The first activity and what we had to do write about New Zealand and what we had to do was that we had to learn fun new fact about New Zealand that we didn't know. 

Idioms-Learn New Idioms

LI: To learn a whole bunch of idioms.This week for reading we had to form into a group of three from another group. For our must we had to try and get the most idioms by the end of the week. In my group we had Afatia and Sione T. We managed to get 15 points. But that wasn't enough to come first place.

Place Value Addition

This week for my maths groups we were learning about place value addition and what we had to do to learn it is that we had to learn place values first before we learnt how to put addition into place value.Then what we had to do is we had to write all the addition to hundred in out book and when we are going that we had to work the problem in out book at the same time we were putting the question in.

We had to get the problem from the basic fact boxes  then we had to press the button that said 100 then we did the problems. The problems were up to hundred and even bigger than what we had to do.For this task we had to work by yourself and do the problems on your own. 

Last Week Fun Day

This week for the last day of kiwi can is was the last day of kiwi can and what we did was that we went over our topic and themes in term four. The topic were respect and our theme was respect for out school,Community,and Environment. Link to the videos.

Nelson mandela

This week for inquiry we had to write the biography for Nelson Mandela. 
What we had to do is that we had to do a google slide and then we had to a google doc for our notes about the person we were searching about and that person was Nelson Mandela.

Verb Words Part-3

Today for this week is did my writing and what we did was that we had to do more Verb word but the thing is The we had to do Perfect Tenses like Future Continuous, Past Continuous, and Present Simple. For this Task we had be parted up and then we had to use our netbooks to record 7 videos and leave the rest.

Steampunk art

Yesterday we we learning about steampunk art and what we had to do to learn is that we had to search what is steampunk art and we look at a slide about steampunk art.Then we got a paper and we had to draw steampunk art. Steampunk art is like mechanic gear into something alive. 

Boxing

Today for this week i did my boxing blog post. we had to practising what we did over the week of boxing and we had to work in partners the whole time.

Place value Worth

Today for maths our group is learning about place value worth.

We needed to work out how many groups of ten in a whole number and how many groups of one hundred in the whole number.

This week for kiwi sport we did boxing and what we did was that we learnt how to do more combos and some are right upper cut then left upper cut. It was better than the last week.

Today for this week i did my kiwi can is that we play two games called invisible touch and four corners. How we play four corners is that there are four corners then you have to walk the when some say four corners you have to run to a corner then one person in the middle with there eyes closed picks one corners that is the noises is out.

Today for maori we learnt about fruits and what we had to do was that we had to write the fruit names in maori then we can blog it.

On Wednesday this week the whole school went to the the movie in Sylvia park and what we did was that we went to watch movies from other schools and we went after lunch because we had to have lunch

Evaluating

On the 21 of June me and my family went to samoa For a wedding and when we went there we had to find somewhere to rest

had to find somewhere to rest so we went to a hotel. When we were at  the hotel we had dinner then went to bed.

Today for this week i did writing and what we did was that we had to check out work that we wrote for a test and then you had to highlight it and if you have a very big mistake you have to highlight it in purple. When we were doing it we had to use the LS2 Writing rubric.

Today for this week i did my SSR Selfie and what we had to do was that we had to read a book take  photo of ti then you had to write about the story then you can if you want you can put your name in so they can see who made it.

Tekau Transiton

This week for maths we had to make a animation using maori numbers and we had to do it by using a google slide. We had to make three animation then we had to blog it.

Boxing

Today for boxing we learnt about how to do an uppercut and a hook punch. Before we started we had to go over the 3 commandments which are Respect, Discipline and Safety. The second thing that we had to do is put on our white gloves then our boxing gloves.



Next thing we did was we had to get in rock position  then we learnt the hook fist then the uppercut. We learnt the hook first because the hook and the   uppercut is like the same thing but a little different. When we were done we had to put the gloves where we got them from.

Kiwi Can

Today for kiwi can we learnt about respect for our school and respect and we play two games and one of the games names are bust stop. 

Te Huarere- The weather

Today for Maori we learnt about writing about the weather from Sunday to Wednesday.

We had to write it in maori and we had to put a photo in to to go with the writing.

Recount/ MT Fuji

Today fro this week i did my writing and what we did was that my teacher rote a recount about him and his friends going to clime mt fuji and he messed the recount for us to fix and we had to do one paragraph and one group  had to do the whole recount. My group had to organism the ideals better in paragraph two.

Maori

Today for maori we had to learn about the maori history and about kupe the first person to find out about NZ. So then we we had to find a place called Parihaka and here is the info about this place.

Boxing

Today for kiwi sport we went to do boxing training.What we learnt about is how  stand and how to punch. The first thing what we did was we went over the three commandment and they were Respect, Discipline, and Safety.

When we use the three commandments they help keep us safe .So the first thing that we did was we learnt about how to stand  when we were trying to punch. The Rock position and we had to bend down and then we had to cover your face in till you get to you eyes.

Then we learnt about a jab and a cross. A jab and a cross is a punch and when you use a jab you have use your left hand straight out and and for a cross you have to use your right hand straight out.

Maori

Today for maori we had to learn about a place called Parihaka Taranaki and we had to read about it on wikipeadia. Here is the link to the information that i had redden.  

Media is a Construction

LT: Is to make a co-co crunch cereal box and to use a gimmick. What is a gimmick? A gimmick is a trick so you can put a trick onto the box.

Bundling

Today for maths we did bundling with raba bands and Popsicle sticks. For this maths task we had to work individually. When we did this google document We had to count in Maori. This was easy and hard to do because we needed to grab or the materials and put them in order. We had to get the answers right so we can get thumbs up.
