Measuring

L.I: to compare and measure areas of the surface by counting unit squares.
Today for maths my group got a rectangle sheet. We had to measure the areas not the width and length. This was easy to do for me. Specially the big squares cause we have 100 blocks and 10 blocks. The only part that was hard was when you couldn't put the unit squares out of the edge. It had to be in order just like the rectangle. We couldn't copy anybody but we could help people with there sheet. My maths group were doing the same thing as me. My Maths group is called Delta. We had a rotation to go around and to do other task. In my maths group there is Leroy, Kaitlin, Alayah, Spelmen, Jay-den and Acien.

Myths,Fairy tales, and Legend.

Today our work for reading is that we had to compare fairy tales,Myths, and Legends. We  we had to get into a group of three and then we had to compare all the things . When we were learning about all the things  we had to write what the meaning of  all the thing that my group did. We had to used reading skills and those skills were Synthesising,Inferring, and prior knowledge.

What is Media

Today we had to learnt about what is media. Media is something you get information off like you get you weather report from the tv.

Visualising and Questioning

• LI: to visualise and question scenes in a book.
• Visualising: We had to read two book an dthen we had to draw what was in the book. The book that we was using has to have no pictures so we could imganm what was happening in the book.

Swimming

Today in the morning at 10.12  all the yeas fives went to the bath room to get change into our togs then we had to put our uniform on top of our togs. After the year fives did that we had to hop on the bus to got to the pool in panmure. When we got to the pool we had to go and meet the person how was going to teach us how to swim properly when we get into the water. The first thing we did was  how to get into the water safely. So how we got into the water safe was you have to put your hands on the side then you have to put yourself into the water slowly then  we had to learn how to swim in the water. 

Different Measuring

Today for maths we had to measure thing with things that you do not use when you measure something like what i used was i used my hand to measure the table then after you have done measuring you have to put what you measured in the measurement into the bottom box with says non-standard measurement boxes.

Kiwi Can

Today we had kiwi can what we learnt was reslice and what reslice means is when you do something wrong you keep trying when you get it right. 

LS1 Quiz Day

This week today it was the quiz day and it was fun doing all the challengers with my group and it was hard but my group got it gone.

Commiting

Today i learnt how to put a commit on people work and how to write what is needed on the work that you commited on.

Fractions

LI: to add and subtract fractions of sets. It was hard doing all this things all by myself but i got it done when it was school time.

The Silent Red Book

LI: to write a narrative with dialogue and that we had to read a book and we had to learn how to write a book about the silent red book.

Matariki Day

Yesterday we had matariki and it was fun having matariki at school and i was one of the performers when the groups had to perform and the people who had performed gotten tow more but i could not eat that much food.

Get Wise ASB

Today we had ASB get wise so we can learn how to get wise when whey have money Cash goal helps people like me because  I know now that i can get wise with the money that i can get from people.

Matariki

Today we are presenting to you a google slide talking to you all about Matariki. How this event is celebrated, what foods people of New Zealand make for this big event and we even inserted a music video that sings about the names of the 7 matariki stars, Waiti, Waita, Waipunarangi, Tupuanuku, Tupuaerangi, Ururang e and Matariki which is the name of the event.
